The Elevated Audiovisual brand of Yungdoms | Music Artist Branding | 2023

Yungdoms is a Cuban-American Hip-Hop and Rap artist based in the Bay Area.

Dominic came to me for help making his visual brand more cohesive and convey the themes of his music: curating good vibes, telling stories of heartbreak, and sharing realizations in life.

My role: I created a brand guide and visual concepts (static and animated) for Dominic to use on his merch, videos, social posts, and marketing materials.

The Style Guide

Dominic wanted to keep his brand color of #ff8db6, a pink hue that he associates with cherry blossoms and serenity.

The textures follow the stylescape proposal (see “Process” below) and fits a grunge-y feel, but can be paired with cleaner visual elements for a touch of sophistication.

 

Process

I followed my branding strategy process as I created this visual brand guide: a strategy call to hit all the points Dominic wanted to convey to his audience, sketches for the logo and merchandise to showcase initial ideas, and stylescapes to refine the visual direction he wants to take.
